    @cptcarnage I installed that a while back. Looks lovely, but Morrowind’s gameplay is frustrating. The combat system is nonsense, for starters. And whoever thought that levelling up your “Athletics” skill to be able to move faster than a slug was a dick.

    That said, Morrowind’s crafting and spell-creating systems are a lot more fun than subsequent installments.

    Morrowind works on a netbook… actually reasonably well without mods, but even better if you download some of the optimisation mods out there. You don’t lose much graphical fidelity, but you gain a fair amount of FPS.

    So yes. I am going to play Morrowind. I might finish it this time.

    @sinfony: I remember doing that with Morrowind a while back. There’s some great mods. I ended up spending more time playing through community quests than original content. There was a great set called “Children of the Night” that was really good fun – don’t know if it ever got finished, though.
