@angryjedi I’d love to jump in, but that’s a fairly hefty price for an alpha buy-in. Maybe I’m spoiled by the two-for-one pricing we’ve seen of late, or simply that games like MAV and whatnot have a very acceptable price point early on.

Speaking of price-point, if there’s a review code of Carrier Command floating about, let me at it…because $50USD is a fairly steep asking price, especially for a digital single player-only game.

Their twitter feed has been pretty interesting post-Subversion getting shelved, especially coding the AI for Prison Architect. Should be a great game.

The biggest sadness was seeing Multiwinia come and go. Had a lot of fun with that with friends, but it didn’t seem to catch the imagination of gamers at large.

Introversion Software’s next game is a prison sim?

I dunno, I might support them. I’d like to see those guys in the forefront of indie gaming again. I think Darwinia was the first game that got me to pay attention to the modern indie gaming movement, and also proved to me that Steam could be more than just a launcher for Valve games.

Did anyone happen to catch the new navigation and graphics tests of Introversion’s new one, Subversion? Ho boy, does it like self-abuse material or what! Geek-themed tumescence.

It looks like certain mechanics of Uplink mixed with my nerd-boner game Frozen Synapse. Speaking of which, if any of you fellows are up for some FS, add “Pylon_Command” or the venerable “angryjedi” in-game via the friends list and get challenging. Can’t get any better than asynchronous multiplayer.
