Okay How About: Mount & Blade? For today only I think the base game is on sale on Steam for $4. The expansion pack is $6.

From what I heard and what I saw in the demo (also there on Steam), this is a medieval mercenary sim. You raise armies, take on missions from various kings and lords, and engage in real time strategy battles for profit.

I’ve read blogs on this game – people telling their stories of gain and loss in campaigns that read out like the Berserk anime from the point of view of Griffith.

How atmospheric is it compared to say, a Silent Hill title? What’s the action/adventure balance? I’d go into Alan Wake primarily for the adventure elements.

You all have five days to tell me why Alan Wake is worth $35.

It among several other new games are on sale at Kmart so says Joystiq. I’m not sure if this counts for both in-store pick-up and Kmart.com

The other good deal at Kmart right now until July 17th is Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for $20.
