@bowlisimo Indeed, but I think only Homeworld has been the space RTS that trumps even the finest games in other genres in terms of story/narrative presentation. In my unqualified opinion, at least. There has been a dearth of decent writing and, to an extent, decent VO work in the space RTS genre for years. Space Wolves voice cast were collected at a Detroit bus stop, Haegemonia group lured into servitude via promise of a time-share conference etc. Give me the cool, calm, quasi-sorrowful voice of Karan S’jet any day.

That said, the world cries out for the intricacies of capital starship battles. I’m willing to suffer bodgy writing for prime mechanics.
